Happy Birthday Chibi-Jen-Hen

My birthday pic for She is such a phenomenal artist and I really admire her work! She's such a versatile artist too, particularly with styles. Sonic...Code Lyoko...Foster's...she can do them all and many more! And they're all gorgeous works of art each and every one of them.

So, I really wanted to draw a picture to honor her 23rd birthday! *chibi-jen-hen's created a group of Sonic characters called the Jewel Carriers. She's also a Code Lyoko fan and an avid cosplayer at anime conventions. So I thought I'd try and do a picture combining all of those.

Thus, we have Yumi and Aelita cosplaying as Jade and Crystal of the Jewel Carriers respectively. I thought about doing the whole CL gang cosplaying various Sonic characters...but I really can't draw Sonic characters that well. I'm not entirely sure this is really well done either, as it kind of looks more like human versions of Crystal and Jade as opposed to Yumi and Aelita dressed-up as them...alas... *sweatdrop*
